STUDENTS

CPMA's Got Talent Auditions:
The annual CPMA talent show "CPMA's Got Talent" is just around the corner, and we are looking for fantastic acts to include in this year's show! Auditions will take place on Tuesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 16 from 4-5 pm in Mr. Ciavarelli's Room 1002. Late buses are available. We're looking for a variety of acts that represent a wide range of arts: dancers, singers, instrumentalists, actors, magicians, comedians, rappers, hula-hoopers, gymnasts, lion tamers…WE WANT YOU! Prepare a one-minute audition that shows off the best of what you can do! Your act can be a solo act, a whole dance crew, and anything in between. Got a talented parent or sibling? Get them in on the fun too! Pick up an audition application from your arts elective teacher today! Applications are due by Friday, October 10th.

Student Store Hours and Location:
The Student Store will return this year in a new location. Bring your coins to the Girls Locker Room Office Door (next to the PE gate) starting Tuesday, October 7th. The store will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during lunch. Coins can be redeemed for a variety of items, or deposited into the Be the CHANGE Bank to be used at a later time. Keep an eye out for our once-a-month Swap Meets when coins can be used to purchase one-of-a-kind items!

Late Buses and After School Tutoring, Rehearsals, etc.:
Late buses will begin on October 7.

Entrance to the Main Office:
We understand it takes time to get used to school policies and procedures. Please remember the entrance to the Main Office for students is through the door across from the 500 Building which is under construction and just down the hall from the Nurse's Office. When entering please stop at the counter and ask for assistance.

Our first social event of the year is an early morning Happy Hour at Starbucks on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. this Thursday, September 25 starting at 7:30am. Door prizes to the winning tickets for those who attend this fun early morning get together.













Parking Issues:

When arriving to campus please use Gate 1. When exiting the staff parking lot, also use Gate 1. Look for bright yellow gate number signs signifying each gate.

Please refrain from entering Gate 2 and driving around the PAC to the staff parking lot.

Eventually Gate 1 and Gate 2 will be locked during the day.

Entrance to the campus is by walking through the 500/Black Box walkway or you will have to walk around to the front gate by the flag pole.

Also, during the day if you need to leave for personal reasons, etc. you will need a 50K key to unlock the gates. If you do not have one, let Marlene know.
