STUDENTS:
After School Tutoring:
We have late buses on Tuesday and Thursday for after school tutoring or other events.
Tutoring is limited to the first twenty students who sign up in the main office by the end of lunch. Students must report to their tutoring room by 3:55 or they will be turned away. Students who do not sign up for tutoring or who do not report by 3:55 will be asked to report to their bus or head home. Students, who miss their assigned transportation due to mismanagement of time, will have to contact their parents for a ride home. Students will not be allowed on the late bus.
Lanyards and planners:
If you lose your lanyard or tear your ID pouch you will need to purchase a new one.
A lanyard and pouch set is $5.00.
A lanyard is $3.00.
A pouch is $2.00.
A planner replacement is$5.00.
Please see Mrs. Nolan.
Not having your lanyard worn will result in a consequence; for example, wait to the end of line for lunch, last in line to board buses, or not allowed out of class.
This is a new school policy and everyone needs to follow it.

From Ms. Freese (9/11):
Welcome Back, CPMA Stars! The Be The CHANGE Student Store will once again be open this year "selling" prizes in exchange for your commitment to Being The CHANGE at CPMA. As you collect CHANGE stickers on your sticker card, bring them to the Student Store to turn them in for a prize of your choice. There are items for as little as one sticker, all the way up to BIG PRIZES for when you've filled your entire card. Keep a look out for news in the Daily Bulletin and on the CPMA Student Store Twitter feed for special deals and promotions. Stickers will only be accepted if they are on a sticker card that is in a lanyard along with your student ID. The Student Store will be open every day during lunch in the PE Equipment Room next door to Room 801 starting Monday, September 14th. Come by to see what we have to offer!
This week ONLY at the Student Store. The Student Store will no longer be accepting Be the CHANGE Coins! If you are a returning 7th or 8th grader that still has coins from last year, please bring them to the Student Store THIS WEEK ONLY to be exchanged for CHANGE stickers. 1 coin = 1 sticker. There are also several students who have coin balances in the Be The CHANGE Bank from last year. If you left coins in the bank last year, come by the student store THIS WEEK ONLY to cash out your balance for stickers. The Student Store is open every day during lunch this week in the PE Equipment Room next door to Room 801 ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO NEED TO EXCHANGE COINS OR BANK BALANCES FOR STICKERS. After School Tutoring:
Students staying after school for tutoring must be in the classroom by 3:55 and no later. If you plan to go to tutoring go quickly in case the teacher is not holding class that day. This will give students ample time to get to the bus. Students should not walk around campus looking for a place to go.
After school tutoring is for your benefit and taking advantage of this opportunity should be important to help with grades, assignments and projects. If you are not serious about getting this extra support then after school tutoring is not for you.
If you leave campus and return you will not be able to ride the late bus home. A parent must be called to pick you up.
Attention 6th and 7th students:
If you requested Spanish 1-2 as an elective next year you should have received a purple flyer. If you are interested in taking Spanish but did not receive a flyer please pick one up from Mr. Macfarland in Rm. 101. Please read ALL of the information on the flyer. You must turn in the flyer to be considered for placement in the elective. Selecting Spanish as a choice in Naviance alone does not guarantee placement.
Attention 6th and 7th grade students
Are you ready to turn your college dreams into reality? Then AVID is the elective for you! We will continue to accept applications until April 20. If you need help starting or completing an application, see Ms. Fikes in Rm. 904, ASAP. Space is limited for this elective so act fast. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail :)"

If you are interested in taking Spanish but did not receive a flyer please pick one up from Mr. Macfarland in Rm. 101. Please read ALL of the information on the flyer. You must turn in the flyer to be considered for placement in the elective. Selecting Spanish as a choice in Naviance alone does not guarantee placement."

Jelly Bean Guesstimate!
Starting next Monday, 3/23 and ending on Thursday, 3/26 we will be having a jelly bean guessing contest in the Main Office. Stop by and guess how many jelly beans are in the container. The student or staff guessing the closest wins! The winner will be announced on Friday, 3/27 during Homeroom.
Diabolos and Kendamas:
These two items may be used before school, during lunch or after school.
All other times they need to be put away and out of sight.
If a Diabolo makes it up on the roof, it may take a few days to get it down. When playing with it, move away from the buildings, to avoid this happening.
